enjoying the story, but way too many POVs. makes the story telling take to long and I’m starting to get impatient 🥲

I like the story but I'm starting to get tired of the lack of suspense. it's so many points of view recounting the same things over and over I'm trying to not skip paragraphs but I'm at that point of wanting to see more than sparring. like they've done nothing but spar no threats really but they're steadily getting stronger but it's ? the book says that the witch coven is coming for her but there's no real feel of danger. I also cringed when alora told her trainer what happened but felt the need to rehash EVERYTHING but where her powers came from. like as a victim to constantly spl your guts about being raped and being abused then to wrap it up with a laugh? kinda bad taste in mouth bc then he later said we should talk over tea about what she's been thru and if they'd actually had that private moment I feel like that's where she should've opened up about something that is PRIVATE.

ok, first off, it seems like a very good story so far (chapter 43) but does anyone else not understand why the author feels the need to over explain things? like, she’s just filling in redundant words that basically mean the exact same thing the prior sentence said but said slightly different. can someone please explain why this is or atleast tell me I’m not the only one who thinks this is strange?
