I just can't follow what is supposed to be going on. Having a good idea for a story isn't enough, you have to be able to write it well enough for people to have even the slightest clue what's going on. You are supposed to be painting scenery, characters, interactions, and story lines with words. It's supposed to flow and make sense, not be disjointed and erratic. My kid just learned about all of this in 4th grade. This story is impossible to follow. It was an interesting story idea, but...... 🤷🏼‍♀️

This doesn't make sense. April would've been 6 yrs old when Chris turned 18. She would've been old enough to know his parents were mom and dad. Also, Chris should be 30 now that April is 18. Ugh! How on earth would April just act as if Chris was her dad this whole time when she was old enough to know better? Come on author get your story right!

This book is very poorly edited. Run on sentences, missing commas, just bad punctuation. Then the FL is so rude to everyone. I feel like the book was writen in another language then very badly translated.
