Chapter Three
THORAN'S P.O.V.
“You can't be serious!” She yelled as she banged on the cell's gate, but I stared down at her completely unfazed by a rebellious attitude “... Let out of here!”
“You are in my pack, and only I give the rules around here” I walked away completely ignoring her cry even if my wolf fought against me to let her go free, but there's no way I will take such disrespect from her
I pulled the dungeon gates closed, and I met eyes with my Beta - Theo who shook his head like I had done something wrong.
“If you think I'm letting her out you're wrong” I mumbled as I made my way into the house
“I didn't say anything about letting her go”
“Your face implied it” I opened the office door, and he shut it right behind us before I took a seat and opened a document
“She might have misunderstood you somehow but come…"
“How dare she?” I closed the documents knowing I couldn't concentrate after the trick she pulled “... Does she realize who I am?”
“She called your full name”
“And rejected me? She's going to pay and learn that no one challenges me on any account”
“Locking her up is a bad idea”
“And rejecting is not? She has disrespected in my home, killed my guard, and you expect me to let her go? Her sin is treasonous!”
“You're going to kill your mate?”
“She rejected me”
“That doesn't give you the right to kill her”
“And what gives you the right to question my authority?”
“It is my job to make sure you don't cross the damn line, Thoran! I understand your fuss about her disrespect, but you've never had anyone stand up to you other than me, and she's a woman and your mate! Quit being an asshole and let that woman out!”
“An asshole? The news is spreading of my rejection faster than speed, and you expect me not to react? If news gets out of this pack, my reputation will be touched and that will not be funny”
“You give too much to your reputation, eventually it gets ruined, do not kill her”
“And why do you really care what I do to her or not?” The question had him silence, but he glared at me with knowing eyes and I rolled my eyes knowing fully well he was right.
“You know what happens if she dies” It wasn't a question and I hate the fact that he knew this knowledge “... Do not make a stupid decision that will put all of us in jeopardy, she wouldn't reject you if she didn't have a reason” He turned to walk away.
“Theo” He looked over his shoulders without looking back “... Find every information you have on her” He walked away, and it didn't take an intelligent mind to know that he was smiling.
I fell back into my chair with a sigh. I needed to get this document sorted out but here I was completely distracted by a certain silver - haired girl.
After hours of reading through a twenty-page document, I was finally able to get it done with, and I headed out and walked towards the Elder's quarters of the castle
“Sir James!” I called out as I walked in, and his door flew opened before he cleared his throat and starer at me.
“What brings you here, Alpha?”
“Documents for the neighboring pack's business” I began walking away but stopped when I noticed he was looking at me, “... What is it?”
“I heard of a certain woman, silver hair?”
“She will be executed, why?”
“Is that the right decision?” His voice rang in my head and I walked away, completely ignoring the question.
Pushing the door to my room open, I closed it immediately I walked in and let out a groan of frustration. I needed some sleep, perhaps that would help me keep that little fire hazard out of my head.
My head rested ok the pillow and I waited for sleep to take the best of me, but it never came. I tossed and turned out of frustration and I couldn't no longer take it.
Pulling the cover off me, I pushed my legs off the bed and walked towards the passage that led to the dungeon. I pulled the gates open and something immediately felt wrong.
I heard the laughter of the guards as I walked in gently, and that's when I heard the rattling of chains and a voice of struggle. I walked out of the dark as her cell came into view and that's when I saw it, which made my blood run hot.
“Why would even think you could reject the Alpha and get away with it?” One of them laughed while pulling a strap off her clothes and all that was left of my sanity slipped through my fingers.
“What the hell are you doing?” My voice was unrecognizable as I took a step after the other into the cell and their eyes widened as they both noticed me.
“Alpha Thoran, we were just…" I grabbed each of them by the neck and slammed them against the wall with both my hands.
Pulled the chains off the ground with my leg I threw them to the corner and had a tight hold on the chain before using it to hit them, blinded by rage, I hung them up with the chains before pouring silver dust all over them
Their screams filled the air, but it sounded more like music to my ears
“Stop” I heard from a distance, but my eyes were still on the guards who dared to touch her “... Stop!” This time the voice was closer, and I turned to look at the silver haired girl that had my head in a twisted, “... Leave them alone!”
“You are mine!” I growled as I reached for her and dug my fangs into her sweet spot, claiming what was mine “... Whether you want it or not and no one touches what's mine!"
