REGALEON’S POV

“What I want from you?” Scoffs, “Don’t get too ahead of yourself Luna Aria you’re just a pawn to get my revenge!”

Aria was shocked. I could see it in her face. Yes this is what I wanted. Fear and respect for me on her face is all I crave.

Only if she knew all her useless father did to me.

I leaned closer to her and whispered, “Blame your dead ancestors for your misfortune and not me!”

I really want nothing from her. Yes I’m her destined protector but I can’t let her go. She looked at me fearfully, “ What… What has gotten into you Alpha Regaleon? Tell me what’s happening?”

I smirked, “ Your father and his foolish accomplices made me and those people rouges and wanted to kill us too. Those people you called packs will never come to save you because they believed that there’s a protector that was destined to protect you all your life and his life. I am that man! Till I die, I have to protect you all my life whether I like it or not. So you must not leave my side, I am too busy to be guarding someone that follows dogs foolishly!”

After I painstakingly spat these revelation to her face, Luna Aria looked totally dumbfounded in a way that she can’t speak any more. Who does she think she was to be acting all high and mighty as if she’s the most righteous on earth?

This is her fate anyway. Since She’s the reason I’m in this life… Since my only purpose in life was to protect her, I can as well make me her only fear and nightmare.

“You’re the destined protector? Agatha is all I have. I never expected that there’s anyone that will be destined to protect me. My Pack……” She was about to start about the pack again when I heard clearly and had no choice but to shut her up through the anger inside of me.

“Enough of the Agatha Pack Luna! Agatha doesn’t belong to you nor do you belong t Agatha. You belong to me! And this is where you’ll spend the rest of your life till I have the time to kill you!”

ARIADNE’S POV

I stood like a frozen ball as I heard him lash out like this at me. His eyes was blazing with anger and unspoken invisible pains that made me gulp uneasily.

I can’t help it but I was shocked beyond words so much that tears played at the brink of my eyes, at first when we exchanged words and he replied me casually she I had thought there was a ray of hope in my release but now the little illumination is gone.

Not even after all these stories he just told me. If he was my destined protector then even if I manage to slink away, he will still be able to find me anywhere I go.

‘Don’t you think it’s high time we accept our fate?’ Ava asked but I can’t respond. I’m don’t know what to say.

‘We are done for’ She heard Ava groaned again angrily and dejectedly.

“Have you now understood what is happening now? Can you now let me breathe?” He almost yelled at me again cutting through my train of thoughts.

My jaw shook as I managed to ask slowly, “Why are you so hard to predict. You monster? We’re talking just now and now you’re shouting as if we have been fighting for all day? Can’t you be soft for once? Can you just look at Agatha with mercy and stop shouting?”

“No words about Agatha, Luna Ariadne, I have said it all”

Regaleon didn’t seem like he wanted to hear my words, instead he raised the sleeves of his shirt up to the shoulder level and there was the sign which only the Luna’s Protectors have. THE VENATO sign.

I gasped after seeing the sign. I… I staggered back, this is all true. He had the venato sign, the same sign in have on my chest, which signifies that he will always find me no matter where I try to hide.

My face was filled with tears as I can’t help but speak, “But…but I haven’t seen you before? We haven’t met before despite you being my protector, did you have to take me captive for that?”

“So are you done with your childishness and finally realized the truth? I’m too busy for stories so make do with that for now” He replied coldly.

I was forced to accept the truth but again… The thought of how much my people would suffer under his tyranny hit me like a mad slap and I break into another round of sobs….. “No I will not stay here with you! My people are waiting for me. I can’t lead a rouge pack please let me go” I pleaded.

The more I plead with him, the more he seems so arrogant and cocky in a way that he smiles as he listen to me plead.

When he seems to be tired of hearing my pleads, he turned to me, “So dear Luna Ariadne of Agat….. opps, I mean To-be Luna of Wildflower rouges pack, shall I call your pack members to come and say a hello or……?”

I angrily pushed him away ignoring his jokes “Stay away from me you animal!, I will never be the Luna of this pack! This is not where I was ordained to lead, so go and never come back!”

“Oh you’re calling me an animal? We’re both Animals. You’re even the leader?” He joker again and laughed wildly making me more angrier. “You don’t want me to return? Are you afraid I’ll ask for your hand in marriage or try to mark you? Oh cut the crap I’m a Rouge but not foolish enough to do that to a Luna I was destined to protect and, you don’t even look beautiful enough to be my mate” He retorted back in a deep tone that sounded disgusting to my ear while pinning me to the wall with his face almost touching hers.

“A heartless rouge like you can never be my Mate. I’m a ln ordained Luna, and you’re just my destined slave, don’t get too ahead of yourself!” I spat back tryouts to get on his nerves but he suddenly leaned his face to my neck as if he wanted to mark me.

“Regaleon Don’t!.... Let me go at least I beg of you” I panicked he might mark me so I used my hand to guide herself.

For the first time, since I saw this most wanted Rouge Alpha that kills mercilessly, he smiles genuinely, his beautiful set of teeth shone under the rich glow of sunlight coming through the window.

My eye widened, I have never seen a man this beautiful not even Alexander my first mate nor Michael my second mate, still in her admiration of his face, he spoke “I’ll leave now since you despise me so much” then he left me t

o bade his cub a goodbye before venturing out again to kill.
