ARIADNE'S POV

Asking me to come with him, this is probably my end indeed.

Tears came to my face again without invitation and rushed down without warning.

I think I have to do what Ava suggested so I fell my knees before him like a sinner, and looked up to his his icy blue eyes and pleaded since there's nothing that can seem to free me from this.

"Alpha Leon please, let me live to lead my Pack. I will give you anything you want, please save my life, I beg of you" I cried.

Regaleon moved closer to me casting a shadow over me as well as panic and blood pressure,

My heart jumped to my mouth at this moment making me feel like a vagabond.

"I don't think we're close enough to call each other casual short names? I say come with me!!" He yelled in a frightening tone that jerked me off guard.

"Please...." I whispered.

"Get her!!!" Regaleon yelled and his men appeared from nowhere circling me.

I felt like a cockroach under Regaleon 's big shadow as I cried but nevertheless, they grabbed me and dragged me away to God knows where.

Seems this is my punishment for leaving my people to perish since the goddess seems to be deaf to my prayers.

As I was about to be bundled into the palanquin they had brought, my second chance mate, Michael suddenly appeared from nowhere.

Relief washed over me in a minute. At least someone came for me.

'Micheal can't handle this Aria, tell him to leave!' Ava pleaded but my lips seems very heavy to move and I can't form any words.

Just five months ago, I met Beta Michael who journeyed through Agatha for a battle. He made a stop at the pack overnight and as a kind hearted person that I was, I hosted him and that's when I got that we're mates.

Because he was a warrior and doesn't belong to My Pack, Micheal and I didn't have that much of a communication. But seeing him here suddenly makes me wonder how he know where I was.

Regaleon who was about to hop into the palanquin with me stopped and looked back at Micheal approaching him.

I can sense the snicker that escaped his lips making me wonder if Micheal could overcome this rouge Alpha.

"Let go of my mate Regaleon. You have taken enough lives already! Of what use will the Luna be to you?" Michael yelled.

To Ava and mine's surprise, a cold, calculating laughter suddenly escape from Regaleon 's full pink lips.

'Is he mad?' Ava wondered.

He stood beside the opened Palanquin as he spoke, "Your mate? Oh you're her second mate. Are you really in love with her or you also want to mark her so you can gain Agatha to yourself?"

"Regaleon !!!!" Michael shouted angrily and rushed to charged at Regaleon but Regaleon 's men were strong and they rushed to held Michael down.

I panicked immediately, seeing him in this dangerous situation made my heart shudder in a way I can't explain. "Michael!!" I shouted helplessly from the carriage and wanted to hop out but the men stood by the entrance.

With slow but intimidating movement, Regaleon walked towards the knelt Michael and said slowly, "You're a warrior Beta but I'm a Rouge Alpha! Shall we spar with swords or claws and see who will be at whose mercy?"

As he said this, tears rushed down my face in quick succession. I can't loose Micheal now.

I locked eyes with him and we looked at each other a second I telepathed with him, 'Why are you doing this Michael? Leave here and forget about this helpless Luna you're mated to. I'll accept my fate. But remember you're the best thing that will ever happen to me' I expressed truthfully as the tears gushed down even more.

'Never letting you go with this monster Ariadne, you're my mate and I'll protect you with all I have' Michael replied telepatically.

More tears streamed down my face, Ava growled sadly more than normal, 'Leave Michael, you'll get hurt. Regaleon is very strong, you can't beat him'

'No, I will not back down Iike this' Michael was adamant.

'Michael!!!!' I suddenly yelled aloud making Regaleon and his warriors notice us.

That crazy lover boy, I gritted my teeth as I yelled again telepatically, 'For my sake, please leave. I'll return to Agatha one day and I can't sacrifice more lives to save mine at least not yours'

Regaleon interrupted this hypnotic eye contact and reached for Michael's jaw. Immediately Michael looked into his eyes, Regaleon spat to his face.

"You and I seems to have thesame goal which is to get this Luna, even though you can easily do that if you married her and, but poor you, I'm not that easy of a person "

After saying this, he pushed Michael away, before Michael could regain his consciousness, I have been bundled into the palanquin and Regaleon's men sped away.

Through the small window in the back, I saw stood up to run after the palanquin but I discouraged him to back off.

Michael fell on his knees and I cried bitterly.

It's now that I blame myself. I shouldn't have tried to escape in the first place.

As the Palanquin sped, I don't need any soothsayer to tell me that my life has been sealed. No backing out of this, I'm now Regaleon's, a useless pawn in gaining control of the pack's power like I had imagined .

He's going to turn my people into his in no time, I know that. Which people will still stay by a Luna who abadoned them in trying times?

When we have reached traveled far enough, I must say I felt a little comfortable with Regaleon who was silent.

This gave me the chance to study his stoic outline very well. Regaleon is very handsome to be sincere. His blue eyes added to his boyish allure making me wonder why he became an assassin and a rouge with that innocent face.

When I was calm and confident enough to talk, I coughed lightly thinking he would say something but he didn't which gave me liver to continue.

"What.... What did you want from me? Why did you keep me alive, you could have killed me?"

Regaleon's cheeks shifted into a smirk, while glint of amusement shimmered in his eyes, "You're right, I should have killed you and still get what I want. But you know what? I just want you alive"

"In what way?"

Regaleon 's voice was coy and dripped with deceit, "You sound too dumb for my liking Luna. I mean, I have no desire to lead that pack of yours that was filed with hypocrites and dogs, all I want is you!"

This is so funny I must say. I can't believe a man like him could joke which actually moved me to laugh. A sad laughter that has thousand of meanings embedded in it, "You want me? For what reason and what use will a Luna who abadoned her people be to you?"

"You'll see when we get to where we're going"

" Where?" I asked with horror and panic again but he had switched from his humourous self to the stoic man again making me feel like a film and very frustrated.

"You will never get away with this Alpha Regaleon! I'm ordained by the moon Goddess herself to lead Agatha after my father and trust me, my people will come for me soon and you'll be killed!"

Regaleon chuckled maliciously to my surprised, "You will protect your pack with that weak mind of yours or your pack will come and save a Luna who runs away when there's war? Don't get too ahead of yourself Luna, you saved your pack with your life so do your best in obeying me"

"I will never allow you!!" I almost screamed through my anger but I can't do anything to ascertain my claim.

"You're the Luna of the pack but you ran away, you can do this much to save them right?"

My heart sank.

'We're was trapped no going back' Ava summited at last.
