Chapter 8 He's Just in a Coma, Let Me Satisfy You!

Joseph was super jealous of George. Before George ended up in a coma, he had everything good in the Spencer family. Joseph always got George's leftovers.

Joseph thought, 'Now that George is out of the picture, I should get his company and even his woman.'

Isabella yelled, "Are you seriously trying to steal from George? How shameless."

Joseph stepped closer, and Isabella backed up. She warned, "Don't come any closer, or else..."

Joseph, thinking she couldn't do anything to him, just smiled and kept walking.

Isabella snapped, "You're asking for it."

She kicked him hard, catching him off guard and sending him flying.

"You wretched woman! How dare you hit me? Just wait and see what I do to you."

Joseph got up to grab her, but she ran and bumped into Patricia.

Patricia stumbled, and Isabella quickly helped her up. "Patricia, are you okay?"

"What happened? Why are you so panicked?" Patricia asked.

"Isabella, stop right there," Joseph shouted, chasing after her.

Isabella hugged Patricia, looking pitiful. "Patricia, Uncle Joseph, he..."

Seeing Patricia, Joseph lost his nerve, worried Isabella might spill the beans. He glared at her and said, "Patricia, you're back. It's all a misunderstanding."

"Joseph, just because George is in a coma doesn't mean you can bully Isabella. If I find out you're causing trouble, you'll regret it."

Patricia stood up for Isabella.

"No, of course not. We're family. How could I bully her? Patricia, you misunderstood," Joseph tried to explain.

"Good, it better be that way," Patricia said.

'Even though my husband is gone and George is in a coma, I still have my status and authority. Joseph won't dare act recklessly,' Patricia thought.

Seeing Isabella was scared, Patricia took her to her room and comforted her. "As long as I'm here, no one in the Spencer family can bully you. I'll protect you."

Patricia gently patted Isabella's hand, then slipped her own expensive bracelet onto Isabella's wrist. "Wear this."

"Patricia, this is too much. I can't accept it," Isabella tried to refuse, but Patricia held her hand firmly and smiled, "Look, everything I have will be yours someday. When George wakes up, the entire Spencer family will be yours. Don't be polite with me."

With Patricia insisting, Isabella accepted the bracelet and smiled, "Thank you, Patricia."

Patricia was indeed generous. A bracelet worth millions was given just like that, which made Isabella feel better about the family.

"Patricia, I'll go back to be with George now."

"Isabella, I know you have some medical knowledge. If you're not too tired, please help George," Patricia said earnestly.

Isabella felt anxious because she only knew basic medical skills.
