Got Through First Chapter. im intrigued. but may i suggest that words spoken over the mental link be italized. thats how most thoughts are done. then you can put in it quote marks too so we know it's 'spoken' through the link and not just inner dialogue.

This is an amazing story.

I know these aren’t humans and it’s just a story, butttt just a thought - you don’t defibrillate someone before doing chest compressions. you also can’t shock asystole because there’s not any electrical activity.. also a blood thinner makes 0 sense because there’s internal bleeding. sorry, I’m a nurse and couldn’t help myself 🤣 but I love this story, so well written.

I hope Cecil gets a fungus laden sock shoved in her mouth, Violet and Lucas can get together and no one coming between Vera and Noah. Gimme more!! Great book!
