getting even a quarter of the way in and still not getting anywhere in the story is really frustrating. “one day” is like 10 chapters. yea there’s some backstory but the story should have moved along by now. things are reiterated way too much and it makes the story drag. not worth the read in my opinion.

If you’re reading this comment after just starting this book. all I can say is DON’T STOP! It really is one of the best books I’ve read in so long and I have read a ton of warewolf/vampire fantasy books. I can’t reconnect it enough. honestly

why does it takes hours to load some chapters?! I love the story but every characters POV has the same explanation as the previous one. Over explanation. It's like the story is being dragged on purpose, which is exhausting to a reader.

Damien is handsom, too. He is made for Alora. Together they can pass all the obstacles. Can wait to read more of their adventures.

Alora-AS I have seen many recommendations for this book and this author and added it to my library for later reading. I am only a few chapters in and I do not want to stop reading. It keeps your attention and makes you want to know what happens next. The main character is amazing and you like her instantly. The introduction does not do the story justice, it is so much better than I thought it was going to be.

The author can't portray properly the side characters, too many details and povs and let's admit it, aloras parent's pov is simply cringe. It feels like the author is figuring out the plot as they write the book which leaves huge holes in it.

Alora-AS I can’t believe I’ve read so many chapters already and the male lead and the female lead haven’t come together yet. it’s frustrating waiting for them to interact for the first time. and some chapters feel way too short. I need more from ML and FL and less POV of all the other characters.

Alora-AS I’m only a few chapters in but this has all the feels! I loathe Alora’s sister Sarah and her “parents”. I am happy to finally read something that has the Alpha not being a huge jerk, knowing that she is different. there are too many stories that have the Alpha being a big A** and banishing them for their differences, so I’m happy to read that this one is different. I love that Alora has such passion and drive to make it out of there.

I enjoy this book a lot. I'm reading the remastered version, but I'm also rereading the original haha. However, I feel like the ending fell short. All these strong characters came together, but they weren't utilized. I also felt the final battle wasn't as climactic as it could've been. I was expecting an all out battle between the characters and the black coven. It would've made sense for the whole "chess pieces" metaphor and rounded out the story better. I hope that happens in the remastered version since the ending felt a little rushed and out of no where. I still like this book though. Damien's the sweetest, and I love that he calls her Starlight. 💜💜💜 Also, the perspectives of the other characters in the remastered version are great, as is the relationship building between characters. Plus, the tension and added focus of the Black Magic Coven is excellent. it really adds depth to the book. I'm excited for how the remastered version will develop!

But i was also happy when the Alpha of the pack and his family took this lady in , cared for her and made her one of their own. And i was also happy when the future Alpha turned out to be her mate. And she posseses one of the extreme powers given that she is a descendant of the first werewolf.
