im confused.. so many hanging issues... the last few chapters seem mixed up. the elpiloge should be moved to end but the deleted seems add more.. where did they move to? who were they talking about in the end that made it where ever? . spoiler . . i do wonder if ethan is a live, was badly burned but wanted to get out cuz of avery that wrin/silas moved him away, what was in the tresure box, who was avery trying to kill in the fire, lara never felt the bond break (where val was away from her mates and it almost killed her) but lara never hurt yet when she was in london she was so sad and hurt. seems like some wrong.. and silas bit over ethans mark and she felt a pain.. so it just seem lots of.loose ends that wish i knew.. does feel like an end. and having to wait until the girl met luca in next book.. and lara is dead.. so so said..

first book was great... characters Val David Devon we loved... this part..start was very good... but eventually you don't like any character I guess except for Ethan.. infact end of the story you start to dislike Val And Devon also and ending make no sense.. no definative ending.. many lose end.. and of course it can be foreseen that conversation between Silas and Wrin at the end is about Ethan.. though looking forward for the 3 book.. all the best... ❤

I loved the book but didn’t like the end. I really hoped Ethan was alive because Lara did not feel anything in regards to losing a mate. I also couldn’t believe that Lara died and left Silas alone with both girls. I am so hoping you edit this to show a different ending and prove that they were not cursed like Lara thought they were. I love your books though.

Just finished this book it wasn't as good as the first. It was a good story, but the ending made no sense after all the secrets revealed and everything heading towards a happy ending they kill off 2 of the 3 main characters. The story ended with more questions. I bet Ethan is still alive. I look forward to see if the next book explains what really happens in the first 10 years of the twins lives.

Part of me was holding out hope that Ethan was still alive since Lara did not feel it. Avery mentioned that Lara and one other person was supposed to die so wasn’t sure to whom she was referring. I would sincerely hope she was not meaning Luca. I am also deeply saddened that they did not get their happily ever after. I know that’s not always the case in the world but it was what I was sincerely hoping for. I read about Obsidian/Ezra/Devrim first so was not expecting this ending at all. so sad.

Why did you kill Ethan? He was a good guy who was willingly sacrificing his happiness for his brother and his mate and was putting up with the Avery. He did everything for the pack and everyone and didn’t even get a happy ending.

the ending was so rushed ! what happen in the past is never clearly explain even thought it was one of the most important part of the plot... the death of Ethan and Lara are really sudden. Furthermore by writing that Lara didn't feel Ethan's death, you make us believed that maybe he was not dead. I understand that we will know more about the fire, Luca health, and the treasure in the next book, but this was disappointing. I feel like the author was not sure people will come back for a third book and left many loose ends on purpose. but it doesn't make sense to fully understand Ethan and Silas past in the next book... We should have had at least one more chapter where Silas talk with his parents and explain clearly why all of this happened the way it did.

So does anyone else think Silas is buying time before they go back to his pack? Wouldn’t Silas be the alpha now that he can shift since he is the oldest? The mating ceremony is for life with the branding being done. Won’t that affect Lara and Silas since they are mated with him? I honestly didn't mind how the story ended, not everything can have a happy ending. I did enjoy the book overall. I would have liked to have had a chapter of Lara and Silas moving on after Ethan was gone, I think it would have been a nice touch although I still enjoyed the story. I did feel like the ending was rushed, the last 2 paragraphs were a good way to end and go into the next book; however, they just felt randomly placed and didn't really tie into the paragraph before. Overall it was another good read and I look forward to the next one.

LEAVE! Why would you stay Stilas? No one wants you there and treats you like you have the plague. Lara is just getting upset. Why wouldn’t they go stay with the cat shifters until Lara can control her wolf? At least there the people treated them like people and not dog poo on their shoe? I wish Silas would challenge Ethan and take the alpha title just to be able to put them all in their place for how they treated him. Ethan doesn’t seem like he’s being a very good alpha at all and how could his parents tolerate the others behavior towards their son? And what is all this talk about not being able to have a baby? Its called artificial insemination. Get your douch of a brother to give a sample and you and Lara can have a baby without her having a relations with him, if she isn’t pregnant and if they were told the truth. I don’t have much faith in anything they were told.

What if the burned person isn’t Ethan? And who set the fire? The person killed was either drugged or wanted to die. Their wolf nose would have alerted them to the fire and they would have at least tried to leave. Lara wasn’t even really concerned about the third person they brought in. She was only concerned with Silas and Luca. The medical staff has proven in the past who questionable they are. I think the baby is Silas and Lara’s. That is why they seem to have been the only ones to hear him and both had the drive to save him no matter what. Avery didn’t car about the baby. She probably kidnapped Ethan and killed someone else to cover it up. She always has a game plan.

Suzi, I know you may not see this but I just wanted to hopefully give some constructive support. I super love your writing and its actually inspiring me to write my own! I know a lot of people are upset with the more realistic tone of this book but I actually loved it. The pain they're going through makes them more real to me. It does feel like the last couple chapters were rushed. I'm not sure if the last couple were out of order but it seemed that way. You go from Silas in the future with his daughters and Lara being dead back to the present with Lara and Silas healing to "we know who started the fire." Then thats it. I'm not at all upset or mad at you, in fact, I'm proud that you stayed true to how you wanted the story to be. I just think you needed a little more time with the ending. I love this story and the fact that you continued down the line from 'Mated to Alphas'. I was so happy to see another book! With the next book, all I ask is that you give yourself all the time you need. Take care of yourself and be happy with the finished result. Those of us that aren't assholes will be more than happy to wait. You are loved and so is your work, thank you.
