Introduction
"Who are you?" I came awake with a jerk, disoriented and aching all over.

JUNE I am interested in many of this authors books, they all look like they would be amazing. The introduction gives you a look into the female leads experience with finding her mate and sleeping with him but for some reason she wants to leave. I wonder why she wants to run from her mate.

JUNE it's hard to know if I want to invest in this book when the author has included an excerpt, instead of a synopsis. I know sometimes it can be recommended to the writer by an editor, etc, but where's the intrigue? where's the other point of view?

JUNE this book is already in my library and for very good reason. this author is amazing. I've read some of her other works and they have all been equally as good. I don't think you can go wrong here.

JUNE The introduction wasnât really a introduction since it didnât have a blurb about what the story is actually about. After reading the first couple chapters I was left confused over what was happening. I wonât be adding it to my library.
