Chapter 1

It has been eleven months since the Reckless Renegades rescued me from the Reapers. They took me in and gave me a safe place to recover. Physically I was healed in a matter of weeks. Emotionally was another story. I don’t think I will ever truly get over something like that but I’m definitely getting better. I don’t have as many nightmares as I did when I first got here. I used to have them every night. It was so bad Ace, Viper or Lug Nut would sleep in the room with me to calm me down. Something about the smell of their kutte. It was warm leather and a light lemon scent of the stuff they used to care for their kuttes. It made me feel safe. It would calm me almost instantly.

Chapter 2

When I get to the playroom the boys are sitting on the floor with a pile of trucks and cars. Jax looks up “Lilly I need a song.” I sit on the floor in front of them. “O, you do?” Jace answers “Yes and me too.” This is something we started a few months ago when we were singing along to a movie together. Now they like me to sing to them often. “Ok. What kind of song?” Jax thinks about it for a minute, “Halla from Sing.” I know the one he is talking about. So while we play with the cars I sing Hallelujah from Sing for them.

Chapter 4

I get Lilly to the garage that the guys and I practice in. When I told her the guys I wanted to introduce her to are in a band I told her the truth. We play every Thursday night at a bar on the edge of town. I led her inside with my hand firmly on the small of her back. I can feel her nervousness whether it be from letting me down or from singing in front of people I’m not sure. I know she won’t let me down. Even if the guys don’t like her she still won’t let me down. She tried, that is all I can ask for. I don’t think it is going to be a problem. I know my guys are going to love her.

Chapter 5

Lug Nut and Neil take me to a bar outside of town where the band plays every Thursday night. We have to get the owner's approval for me to be there since I’m underage. When we pull up the place looks deserted. Lug Nut says it’s because the bar isn’t open yet and the only people here are the ones needed to get it ready to open. Neil goes in first, then Lug Nut and I follow. I’m looking around to get a feel for the place. I see the stage in the front with a dance floor right in front. Small two to three person tables are just behind the dance floor in a u shape. Six person booths line the side walls and a sunken bar takes up the whole back wall.

Chapter 7

Only once we were all in Viper's office and the door was shut did Viper let me go. He had me sit in one of the chairs in front of his desk. Ace sat beside me with Lug in front of me. Brick behind me. Instead of going to sit in his chair Viper leaned against his desk. “Lilly, are you sure you are ok?” I nod “Yea, Mr. Viper. I’m fine. Just my hand. And a little shook up is all. I’m sorry to be so much trouble.” Ace takes my good hand “Lilly, you're not any trouble. You did the right thing by calling Lug.” I nod but don’t really agree with him. I should have been able to handle this myself. I just called Lug for advice. I didn’t think the club needed to be involved but Lug seemed to think it did.
